Meet Our Staff

Peggy Law, Director and Trainer

Peggy Law, DirectorPeggy studied service dog work in 1999 at the Assistance Dog Institute in Rohnert Park, California with Bonnie Bergin, originator of the service dog concept and founder of the first service dog organization in the United States. Peggy then spent a month in France learning from Anecah, a French service dog program.

She has worked with adults and children with a range of disabilities including spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, autism, and ataxia.

In pursuit of more specialized skills in animal training, Peggy enrolled in the Operant Conditioning Workshops in Hot Springs Arkansas run by Robert and Marion Bailey, and considered among the most intense and thorough training workshops in the country.

Peggy also maintains an ongoing mentoring relationship with Susquehanna Service Dogs (SSD) in Harrisburg, PA. SSD is extremely valuable for the insight of 12 years of experience working with disabled clients and dogs.
