Junior Ambassador Program
The Service Dogs of Virginia Junior Ambassador program is for kids ages 10-16. They meet monthly from September through June. The goals of the program are to connect youth with the organization through educational sessions, community outings and civic engagement.
Some typical sessions include service dog play dates, a holiday event, painting with the dogs, and a dog wash fundraiser.
The application, recommendation form and permission form are all available below. There is a $25 participation fee to help off set the cost of running the program. The program is limited to a small number each year.
